Seminyak - The fashionable spot in Bali. Great for shopping, good restaurants, and clubs. Not known for its beaches. (approx. 30 min from airport)
Ubud - Cultural center of Bali, definitely worth a visit. Stunning scenery, rice paddy fields, art galleries, temples and health retreats. There is also the Monkey Forest and nearby wildlife parks for kids. (approx. 1h15 from airport)(approx $%
Uluwatu - The place to go for surfing in Bali, with world renowned breaks rolling in under dramatic cliffs. (approx. 20 min from airport)
Amed - A more quiet part of the island, with traditional fishing villages, yummy seafood and amazing snorkeling and diving, set under Bali's biggest volcano. (approx. 2h from airport)(
You could also visit the nearby Gili Islands or Lombok (a short flight away) for beautiful beaches, snorkeling and diving.
